We wanted to understand and tell the story of accessory giant Kurt Geiger including:
- Where they came from
- Where they are now and what makes them stand out from their competitors
- Where this huge international company still has to go
Our approach was to tell this sprawling story in the simplest and concise way possible. Given the aesthetic nature of their products, we also took every opportunity to include visually engaging moments of their beautiful pieces and displays. We wanted to tell a story that anyone could engage with and that reflects the ethos of the company, with the high-end glossy visuals. Inclusion of the company’s future ambitions was also essential, to promote their new initiatives on a platform as business-centric Telegraph Business Club.
Kurt Geiger shared the video across their social platforms, to be viewed by their huge following, as well as to educate new parties on the Telegraph Business Club. Putting the company in context by explaining their story and their contribution to ‘London cool’ was an excellent segue into discussing their innovations, in terms of both business practice and design. We wanted to humanise and contextualise the brand and promote their forward journey, and the mixture of platforms was ideal for this.
